3 scenarios where forged steel gate valves are necessary
Forged steel gate valve is a gate used to completely cut off liquids or gases in pipelines. Its working principle is like a “lifting barrier”. When the valve is closed, the gate plate falls like a guillotine to block the pipeline, and when the valve is opened, it is completely lifted to allow fluid to flow smoothly. Either fully open or fully closed, flow cannot be adjusted!
It is essential in the following three scenarios:
1. High voltage critical zone
The cast steel valve of steam pipe (temperature 550 ℃/pressure 42MPa) in thermal power plant has collapsed long ago, and the forged steel valve is as stable as Mount Tai.
2. Corrosive Venom Zone
Strong acid pipelines in chemical plants are equipped with F316 stainless steel forged steel valves for rust prevention (ordinary valves are scrapped after six months).
3. Zero leakage exclusion zone
The liquid natural gas pipeline has an elastic gate that automatically compensates for wear and tear, ensuring no leakage for ten years.
From nuclear reactors to chemical plants, forged steel gate valves specialize in high-pressure, high-temperature, and deadly valve work, simple and rough but extremely reliable!
