How strong are forged steel valves? Where does it work?
Forged steel valves are commonly used in industrial pipelines, working in high-temperature and high-pressure environments. It is not like ordinary valves that are “cast”, but made by burning steel blocks red and then smashing them into shape (forging process), which makes the interior denser and less prone to cracking and water leakage.
High pressure is not afraid of explosion: it can withstand hundreds of atmospheres of pressure;
High temperature is not afraid of softness: it can withstand high temperatures of 650 ℃.
Sealing super intelligence: The higher the pressure, the tighter the valve squeezes itself.
Power plant boilers, oil drilling, nuclear power plant pipelines, etc. are all its application scenarios. It can deal with boiling steam, withstand corrosion and high-pressure double impact, and also prevent radiation and leakage.
The toughness of forged steel valves makes them unusable in ordinary places, but they must be chosen for such harsh situations.
